The cream itself is good and works for me. I am not pregnant but people who have found that the usual suspects for acne fighting active ingredients (benzoyl peroxide, salycilic acid) don't work for them may want to try this, as the active ingredient is sulphur (and in the companion face wash, is lactic acid). The smell of sulphur does not particularly bother me and I find it unnoticeable once it is absorbed into my skin, but clearly others are more sensitive. That's something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to smells because the only way to not smell sulphur in your skincare is to use a product without it. This product (along with cutting dairy out of my diet) helped clear up my adult acne which had previously resisted about $1200 in light treatments, peels and other professional dermatological services/Dr. visits. The cream itself is 5 stars. The packaging is 1 star:*Annoying and expensive* - it is incredibly aggravating over the old pliable tubes they used to have and it smacks of price gouging. Originally the price went from $12 for the tube to $21 for the pump with the same 0.5 oz inside. It's since been lowered to $17 (or so, perhaps depending on the seller), which still represents a stable, near-50% increase in price JUST FOR PACKAGING.*Wasteful and unhygienic* - The pump stops delivering product when there is about 1/3rd of the cream left in the bottle, so that you have to unscrew the top to ketchup-bottle-smack it out, inevitably delivering a huge glop into your hand. I scrape the excess off my hand and back into the bottle, and though my hands are clean, clearly this is not as hygienic as using the pump.*Not travel-friendly* - The pump takes up valuable space in my 311 bag, about the same amount of space as 2-3 of the old tubes. The empty bottle weighs 1.5 oz all by itself versus the old tubes that weighed virtually nothing. When embarking on travel of a couple of weeks or longer or traveling on budget European airlines, it is important to review these things when you consider that a T shirt or thin swim cover up might only weigh 3oz.I use 1-2 pumps twice a day, and the half ounce lasts me 2-3 weeks. When embarking on travel longer than that, I'm forced to decant the cream into a travel tube, which is made difficult by the aforementioned pump issue. The last time I tried to bring a full ounce with me on vacation, I was left with 3 partly empty bottles after the pumps stopped delivering product.*Suggestion for Belli*If you guys are listening, please consider reverting to the old packaging or perhaps offering a 1oz size in a small lightweight tube. I would personally be fine paying $20 for that.
